iShares Cup at Skandia Cowes Week Exhibition Racing
Exhibition Racing will allow the Extreme 40 fleet to dazzle and entertain the public while showcasing an intimate view of all the action!
In addition to the iShares Cup Regatta, the Extreme 40 teams will also be on hand during Skandia Cowes Week to put on three evenings of informal Exhibition Racing giving spectators the chance to see these boats at close quarters and the public the chance to get onboard and see what it’s like to race with top-level crews on high performance boats.
Exhibition Racing will be visible from The Green by the Royal Yacht Squadron, from 7-9 August from 1730-1900. At least four of the Extreme 40s will show off their moves in short course racing that will allow the Extreme 40s to execute speed runs and hull flying close to the shore.
Several selected guests including local competition winners will get a chance to fill in the fifth and sixth man spots sailing alongside several of our celebrity sailors.
Live commentary will be available to highlight all the thrills and spills that happen on the water.
